Lavanasura started torturing on the strength of Trishul. He made an outcry on the earth. Shri Ram ordered his younger brother Shatrughan to kill Lavanasura. Then Shatrughan took the advice of Mahamuni Bhargava. Bhargava told Shatrughan when Lavanasura goes hunting in the forest.

Then Trishul leaves the Shiva temple. Only then is it possible to kill him. Shatrughan killed Lavanasura in the forest according to the instructions of Bhargava Rishi. After the slaughter of Lavanasura, Shatrughan cut Madhuvan and built Mathura city. Mathura city got its identity because of Lord Krishna.
